About

At 1 Penguin Place, the only sound you will hear will be the waves on the beach. This self contained Cape Town studio is situated ±6 minutes walk from Photographer’s beach, Bloubergstrand (from where all the famous pictures of Table Mountain are taken).

Situated in a quiet road, it is self-catering (serviced weekly) with an open-plan well-equipped kitchenette, dining/lounge area, a bathroom and a small room for a child to sleep in so parents can have some privacy, or to use as a study. Own entrance and relaxing garden with a security system, and off-street parking. A convenient bus service links to all types of transport and sights – and can get you to/from the airport or the waterfront at very reasonable cost.

All amenities are nearby -from movies to pubs & restaurants to shopping to laundry services. The world-famous Kiteboarders’ beach is in walking distance.

For those needing office support, we offer e-Mail etc and have a fax and other office requirements.

Your hosts are experienced, registered 4×4/offroad tour-guides, so know where to go, and will happily chat to help you plan your stay, whether just in the Cape (winelands etc), or further afield to the Garden route, or the Big-game areas of the continent.
Mike is also the presenter of the Cape Kiteboarding Classic, which takes place in the middle of December each year.

All this can help keep your costs down and get more from your holiday.
